Sulphur (Ephemerella dorothea)

Sulphur are arguably the most important mayfly hatch on the Upper Delaware System.  We generally see the early hatch begin from mid to the end of May overlapping with Green Drakes.  Once summer kicks in we see daily hatches of Sulphurs on the upper river sections from July through August.
