Isonychia bicolor - Slate Drake

$3.25

There are usually Isonychias hatching somewhere on the Delaware System for most of the season.  The long hatch period and size make them a great searching pattern.  The will crawl out to hatch on rocks but will also hatch in the river, especially during higher flows. Entomologists have now combined all of the species under Isonychia bicolor.  On our rivers they will vary in color and get smaller as the season progresses.

Isonychia bicolor (formerly bicolor, sadleri, and harperi)
17 mm - 12 mm (#12-2xl - 14)
Hatch time:  mid May through mid October
