Gray Fox (Maccaffertium vicarium)

$3.25

The "little brother" to the March Brown starts to appear as the bigger bug begins to wane. Hatching sporadically throughout the day, fish will key in on high-profile surface patterns such as the Comparadun or Parachute.  Entomologists have combined Gray Fox and March Browns as a single species.  We still look at them as different hatches with slightly different body colors, sizes, and hatch times

Maccaffertium vicarium (formerly Stenonema fuscum)
17 mm - 15 mm (#12-2xl)
Hatch time:  mid May through mid June
