Early Black & Brown Stonefly
$3.25
Larger early season stoneflies are mostly represented by the Taeniopteryx family. They offer some of the first dry fly fishing of the year on warm afternoons and are larger than the Tiny Black Stoneflies (Capniadae sp.). All of our stoneflies are tied with hackle to represent maximum movement. A cdc underwwing and deer hair overwing keep them floating high. Stoneflies rarely sit still while on the water so don't be afraid to skate them.
